Four new Pro98® reloads certified - June 16, 2008
For Immediate Release - June 16, 2008 - Gormley, Ontario
The CAR Motor Certification Committee has tested and certified four new Pro98® reloads using our popular Vmax™ and new Red Lightning™ propellant. With these new reloads we now have four different propellants available in our Pro98® line. The Vmax™ Pro98®’s are characterized by very high average thrust levels; perfect for a project that turned out a little too heavy or test-flights on smaller fields. The K1620 reload uses CTI’s new 1-Grain Pro98® casing. The M4770 reload makes use of CTI’s new larger Pro98-XL nozzle that allows a higher expansion ratio. Currently only the 2-Grain L3150 is certified for use in AT-RMS hardware, but the 1-G and 3-G motor types will be certified in AT-RMS hardware shortly. The new M1890-P Red Lightning™ reload creates a stunning red flame for more than 5 seconds and is certified for use in both Pro98® and AT-RMS hardware.

The CAR Motor Certification Committee has tested and certified six new Pro54® reloads using our new Red Lightning™ propellant. The Red Lightning™ Pro54®’s are characterized by a very bright red flame. The burn times are in between those of the Classic™ and Smoky Sam™ motors for maximum enjoyment of the motor burn. All motors feature CTI’s adjustable delays and easy ignition system using an e-match and booster pellet. As with all Pro54® motors, preparation and clean-up times are minimal. This is the fifth propellant available for our popular Pro54™ line: Classic™, Smoky Sam™, Vmax™ and White Thunder™ reloads were already certified and all remain available.

Two New White Thunder™ Pro150® reloads certified - May 1, 2008
For Immediate Release - May 1, 2008 - Gormley, Ontario
The CAR Motor Certification Committee has tested and certified two new exciting Pro150® reloads using our popular White Thunder™ propellant. The O5800 and O8000 motors are based on hardware developed for a commercial customer to boost small cruise missiles. For HPR usage we added 45 seconds of tracking smoke. The O8000 is a full (100%) O design, the maximum allowed for HPR use. This is the largest motor ever certified for hobby use. Both motors are very high performance with a delivered Isp of around 224 seconds! These new motors use a single grain design. Because the motors are no longer segmented, the hardware nomenclature has been updated to reflect the new design. The previous 3G casing is now a 30k (30,000 Ns) casing. The 4G hardware is now a 40k (40,000 Ns) casing. The 40k casing is actually a 30k casing with a 10k extension. With the recently introduced Pro38® White Thunder™ motors, we now have a complete lineup of White Thunder™ propellant for each hardware diameter (Pro38®, Pro54®, Pro75®, Pro98® and Pro150®).

New Vmax™ Pro54® reloads certified - April 28, 2008

The CAR Motor Certification Committee has tested and certified three new Pro54® reloads using our popular Vmax™ propellant. This is the fourth propellant available for Pro54®: Classic™, Smoky Sam™ and White Thunder™ reloads were already available for our Pro54® line of motors. A fifth propellant will be introduced soon; for all Pro54® casing sizes. The Vmax™ Pro54®’s are characterized by very high average thrust levels; perfect for a project that turned out a little too heavy or test-flights on smaller fields. A few demos were already flown at the Florida Winternationals, held February 16-18, 2008. These motors turned out to be real crowd pleasers.

New White Thunder™ Pro38® reloads certified - April 25, 2008
For Immediate Release - April 25, 2008 - Gormley, Ontario
This is the first of several new product releases planned for the next few weeks. The CAR Motor Certification Committee has tested and certified four new Pro38® reloads using our White Thunder™ propellant. This completes the Pro38® White Thunder™ line. Pro38® White Thunder™ is now available in 1G through 5G (the 5G I540 was already available). The White Thunder™ Pro38®’s have the highest total impulse of all of our Pro38® motors. The burn time is between the Vmax™ and the Smoky Sam™ motors. The flame of our White Thunder™ propellant looks like ‘the real thing’ and it most closely resembles our military and aerospace propellant.

CTI and Animal Motor Works announce merger of HPR product lines - August 14, 2007

After several months of planning and discussion, Cesaroni Technology Incorporated and Animal Motor Works will begin cooperative production of their respective product lines and new product development. The product production and marketing merger will make AMW/Pro-X® the industry’s largest manufacturer of HPR motors and reloads. The product merger will also accelerate AMW’s production transition from its previous New Hampshire location. Some of the new products will include a new line of propellants that will be marketed under the Kryptonite™ brand name.
These new propellants will be manufactured on CTI’s state of the art manufacturing equipment. The product line will include high performance colors and effects formulations in addition to classic favorites that will be certified for use in AMW, Pro-X® as well as Brand A hardware systems. In April of this year, CTI received DOT and ERD 1.4C shipping classifications for its 75mm and 98mm moon burner line as well as a new series of 54mm, long burn reload systems. Smoky Sam propellant is also included in this approval. Initial production and pre-certification testing of color and effects propellants is currently underway.
All propellants produced by CTI are ferrocene and catocene free, ensuring long life, stability and safety while maintaining predictable ballistics due to associated migration and sublimation issues.
In addition to the traditional reload configurations that have been previously available, the AMW line plans to offer Pro-X® style, drop-in, modular reloads for some of its existing hardware cases. Both companies are also planning 24mm and 29mm systems that will include Brand A compatibility as the product line expands. Production of single use model rocket motors is also being considered for 2008 once the new line has been established. Previously, CTI limited production of small single use rocket motors to commercial and defense R&D applications.
Certification of new products will also include California State Fire Marshall approval so California flyers will have access to the entire AMW/Pro-X® line. Manufacturing and distribution is planned from both Canadian and U.S. locations with certifications and the first new product releases scheduled for this fall.

New high thrust Pro38® and Pro54® reloads certified - June 13, 2006
Cesaroni Technology Incorporated (CTI) is pleased to announce successful Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR) certification of four new Pro38® and two new Pro54® reloads.
Following up on the Pro38® H565 designed for the H-Lite bowling ball loft event and using our new Vmax™ propellant, 4 new reloads have been developed and certified:

The H565 will remain available by special order only, and is replaced for general-purpose use by the I566, which offers 50 Ns more total impulse for the same price. These motors are perfect for heavy models, booster stages, or just for some high acceleration fun! Each comes equipped with an adjustable delay and ejection charge.
In the Pro54® line, two new K motors using our White Thunder™ propellant are now available:

The K1440 is a great choice for the LDRS-25 dual bowling ball loft event, as well as a variety of other applications. Again, these reloads are equipped with adjustable delays and ejection charges.

CAR Certifies 4 New Pro75® Motor Systems - February 6, 2004
The Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR) recently announced that the CAR Motor Testing Committee has certified four (4) new motors from Cesaroni Technology Incorporated (CTI). These new motors are in the Pro75® line from CTI and are the 2486K510-P, 3757L800-P, 5015L1115-P and the 6251M1400-P. All 4 motors are certified until December 31, 2008 for hobby rocketry use by the members of CAR and any other rocketry associations with current reciprocal motor certification agreements in place with CAR.

CTI Develops Aerospike Nozzle - February 2, 2004
Cesaroni Technology Incorporated has begun a series of ground tests for its new aerospike manufacturing technology. Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) engineering techniques, the new design is the first molded ablative aerospike produced for commercial and military applications. Solid propellant formulations have been optimized for aerospike conditions.
CTI is producing a number of systems for a NASA Dryden Aerospike Program with flight vehicles and integration being provided by blacksky Corporation. Flight-testing will begin later this winter. Reloads kits incorporating this new technology will be available for the Pro150 family of high-powered rocket motors as soon as certification is completed.
